Nancy Ann Richards (Miglin)
Nancy Ann Richards, 68, a prominent Las Vegas, NM lawyer, passed away at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe on Tuesday. She was born in Dearborn, Michigan and was a beloved mother, friend and attorney-at-law. She was preceded in death by her war veteran father, Charles Miglin and his lovely wife Anna Grace Miglin.
She is survived by her two sons, James Nathan Miglin and Jonathan Charles Miglin of Los Lunas, NM; and two grandchildren, Judy and Tyson Parkinson of Tucson, AZ. She received her law degree at the University of Montana School of Law; received a Bachelor of Science Magna Cum Laude from Bradley University. Nancy attained a degree in journalism and many years ago also wrote for the Las Vegas Daily Optic. Nancy has practiced law in the State of New Mexico since the 1980's.
She was a kind-hearted, generous, caring individual; one would be far pressed to find a rival to her good spirited nature and benevolence. She always had an optimistic approach to life and would go the extra mile to lend a helping hand. Her heart was gigantic and her work ethic was unmatched. She was one of a kind person and she will be truly missed.,
Cremation has taken place and services will be held from the Immaculate Conception Church with a rosary on Monday evening, February 29, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday morning, March 1, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. The interment will take place at a later date on the Krazy Arrow Ranch in Los Dispenses, NM. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Building Fund at the Immaculate Conception Church, 801 Sixth Street, Las Vegas, NM.
